It takes a million different details for two people to meet and fall in love, and we’re no different. Although you can technically call us college sweethearts, the truth is that we qualify for that title by the skin of our teeth! We started dating just a couple of weeks before Lindsey graduated, while Lucas had another eight months to go. Not much longer after that, we found ourselves married and living the Army lifestyle in Central Texas. Now in vocational (Lucas) and lay (Lindsey) ministry, we hope to show people the wonderful way that God changes people through His Word and His people.

Although all things that we have are a clear blessing from His hand, the Lord has graciously blessed us with four beautiful children. Craig is our thinker, Darby is our spitfire, George is our comedian, John is all smiles and our greatest joy has been seeing them grow up with a fear of the Lord. We earnestly pray (and shamelessly ask you to pray as well!) that they realize their only hope in life and death is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ alone.
Lucas is graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is pursuing postgraduate studies in Historical Theology. Lindsey is also a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She holds her Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling, and is a member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
